The Movie Room channel is a new channel that offers entertaining local and international movies 24/7, from big blockbuster hits to unforgettable cinema classics. Its diversity caters for every mood - whether it’s edge-of-your-seat action you’re after, or the comfort of an old favourite. 

• When will the Movie Room channel be available?

 The channel will be available from Saturday, 27 August 2022 at 16h00 CAT.

• What channel number will Movie Room be broadcast on? 

The channel will be broadcast on DStv channel 113 and on GOtv channels 28/128/328 (please customise for your markets)

• On which DStv package/s will Movie Room be available? 

The channel will be available to DStv Premium, Compact Plus, Compact, Family & Access subscribers.

• Which GOtv packages will the channel be available on?

NB: The Movie Room channel will be available on the following GOtv Packages:

Yes - the channel is a 24/7 movie channel, offering the best of international blockbusters.

Blockbusters as well as classics including action, drama, romance and comedy.

Yes, please check your EPG Guide and schedules on dstv.com and gotvafrica.com. 

• How will the movies be screened? How will I know when my favourite movie will be on air?

• Will the channel be in HD and SD?

 The channel will be in both HD and SD.

• Will the channel be streamed on DStv for me to watch online?

Yes, the channel will be available to watch on DStv Now.
