As such, EDU Channel (DStv channel 316) will no longer be available on DStv packages, effective 15 August 2022. The channel will be removed on 15 August 2022 at 23h59 CAT. 

3. Are there any channel replacements for these terminated channels?

We continue to look for new and fresh content to add to our channel line-up. Any channel launch announcements will be communicated when launched.

4. Which markets are impacted by the terminations?

Our Kenya, Tanzania & Uganda markets are affected.

5. Are these channels terminated on all packages? 

Yes. Channels will be terminated from all packages available.

6. Are you going to give customers a discount now that we have one less channel?

We do not increase or decrease our prices when we add or remove channels, but we are continuously looking for ways to enhance our content offering to our customers at the best prices.
