Decoder Swap and Repair Process

Free swap

If the decoder is within warranty 1 year (12months) is eligible for free swap if the CSR is unable to fix the decoder by trouble shooting. However, warranty is void  if the decoder is tampered with decoder has a physical damage and Liquid spillage.

Out of warranty decoders -Explora 1&2, DSD6S, HD Old Zappa and HD5 can be swapped with refurbished stock decoders at a cost of 100,000 for Explora and 40,000/- for Zappas or a new decoder box without accessories at 500,000 for Explora and 60,000 Zappa. These decoders use the same power cable and remotes and hence the replacement decoder doesn’t come with these accessories.

Decoder models: 1110, 1131, 1132, 2 Tuners and 4 Tuners are not eligible for swap, because their accessories ie LNBs, Remotes and Power cables aren't the same with the new decoders we are selling, advise such customers to buy New decoder onlys ( HD Zappa at 99000/- & Explora dsd at 699000/-) if at all they want to replace their decoders.

Out of warranty GOtv decoders(DTD280I, DTD426,DTD416,GO8863 and DTD4N can get a swap of a refurbished decoder at 25,000/- and New decoder at 35,000/-without a remote and power cable. Then those who want to upgrade their GOtv decoders and can get the new GOtv decoder only at 45000/- comes along with Gotv Remote, Power adaptor and AV cables.

N.B: Please note that decoder swaps do not come with remotes and Power cables.
